For students who have an industry background or knowledge, the A+ Prep Certificate offers preparation for the CompTIA A+ Certified Technician exams. These two exams comprise the CompTIA A+ Certified Technician certification. This vendor-neutral certification demonstrates competencies in the areas of installation, preventative maintenance, networking security, and troubleshooting. It demonstrates foundation-level knowledge and skills necessary for a career in PC support.
Students who feel they may have sufficient background or knowledge to be successful in one of these abbreviated programs are strongly encouraged to contact one of the program instructors prior to enrolling, to discuss the prior skill sets.
